Important: All GPA calculations on this site are estimates for informational use only. Never use our results as a substitute for official figures from your school registrar, AMCAS, LSAC, or any other official body.
General Information Only
CalculateMyGPA.net provides GPA calculators and educational content for informational purposes only. The results produced by any calculator on this site are estimates based on standard formulas and publicly documented grading policies. They do not constitute official academic records.
Your official GPA is determined exclusively by your school, college, or university registrar using that institution's specific policies, rounding rules, course classification standards, and grading scale. Individual institutions may deviate from standard formulas in ways that affect your official GPA.
No Guarantee of Accuracy
While we use formulas documented by AMCAS, LSAC, the College Board, the University of California system, and major US university registrar offices, we cannot guarantee that our results will match your official GPA in every case. Factors that may cause discrepancies include:
- Institution-specific grade point values (some schools assign A+ a value above 4.0)
- Different rounding conventions (truncation vs. standard rounding)
- Non-standard credit hour assignments
- Institutional policies on repeated courses, withdrawals, or pass/fail grades
- Graduate vs. undergraduate GPA separation rules
- Changes to official grading policies after the date our calculators were last updated
Medical and Law School Applications
The Medical School GPA Calculator and BCPM Calculator use the AMCAS methodology as publicly documented. However, AMCAS course classification decisions are made by AMCAS staff reviewers and may differ from self-reported classifications. The AMCAS GPA on your official application may differ from our estimate.
The Law School GPA Calculator uses LSAC methodology as publicly documented, including the rule that all undergraduate grades count regardless of repetition. Your official LSAC GPA is calculated by LSAC from official transcripts and is the authoritative figure for law school applications.
Do not submit any academic application based solely on GPA estimates from this site. Always obtain your official GPA from the relevant application system before applying.

For questions about your official GPA, contact your school's registrar office. For AMCAS GPA questions, contact AMCAS directly. For LSAC GPA questions, contact LSAC directly.
